Photo Series 2
The photos i took explain the historical past in the buildings and houses of somerset. The small imperfections of the photos explain the history of each building and bring alive the importance and detail of the buildings. I photographed the historical society and peoples houses i saw down in the village because i felt that the village had a huge importance of somerset and had an older look to the houses. The photo of the historical society is trying to place the past in the photo by only showing the front of the building... It use to be a school and now is the historical society and i was trying to show the difference in both of those subjects bringing it into one picture. with the doors showing, it reminds me of school doors.
Photo Series 3
The photos I took for photo series three explain the historical past of the houses of somerset. The detail of the photos explain the history of the houses. The older the houses look, the more it showed details of the past. had an older look to the houses. The houses show a difference in what the look like now and what they've looked like before because of the small fixer uppers made and show in the photos I took. My favorite photos I photographed were the ones of he white house because they show the most historical elements with all of the small details show enhancing the white background.
Impressionist
The name of my photo series is "Magic in Nature". the title describes the details in nature, something that most people dont notice right away. The darken part of each photo bring the middle into contact with the viewers eye to show the most important place in the image. My favorite photo is the last one in the series. At first it was my most hated picture but now that i see it in concept with the other photos i like it a lot. it reminds me of modern art and digital photography. I love the leading lines in the picture that leads the viewers eye to her eyes in the middle.
